Is there any charge for Broadcast Cast East Content? Not for Free-to-air shows only if you commission us to provide content for you. Do you carry advertising in your content? On occasion we will. However, we usually carry advertorial for charitable causes like SOS Silence on Suicide or mental health charities Do you support a poltical party? Broadcast East staff are of course engaged in political debate and have a spectrum of views. Are you a UK company? We are a European and middle eastern business partnership. The network is headquartered in Spain. Are radio Shows subject to Ofcom regulation? No because we are an international business; however (and this is important), we adhere to all Ofcom rules because they represent best practice. Our shows reflect our values for fairness and are family-friendly in nature. Music and sketches are checked for profanity. Why do you not distribute shows via drop box? We gave this a try for one of our shows for a while, and it unfortunately didn't work out as well as we'd hoped. We noticed that files were being moved or altered. The programme automation systems added versioning to files, and Dropbox is quite clear about its content ownership rules. We've had success with PCloud for some services, which better meets our needs. We distribute files from our corporate website and above via our cloud store with folder access links.
